If Sometimes you can’t find other computers on your home network, one solution to this problem is the following:
Solution:
– right click on windows sign
– click on SEARCH
– in search box type SERVICES
– click on SERVICES
Next step is:
– click on STANDARD
– click 2x on FUNCTION DISCOVERY PROVIDER HOST
– change startup type on AUTOMATIC
– click on APPLY
– click 2x on FUNCTION DISCOVERY RESOURCE PUBLICATION
– change startup type on AUTOMATIC
– click on APPLY
p.s.: if from any reason services is not on START u must click on START.
– right click on windows sign
– find NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER
– if you want to share folders setup everything as in video
It is very important to set everything as in the following pictures.
Do this on every computer in the local network. Sometimes it is necessary to reset the computer or this will not work.
If you do everything well you will be able to find your “lost” computers on the network.
